Meet The Builder

As Montana’s Premier Design/Builder of luxury Custom Homes for nearly 4 decades, Greg Bain and Company has Designed and Built over 1,000 uniquely beautiful homes. An Award Winning Design/Builder and one of the oldest continuously operating Design/Build Companies in Western Montana, Greg Bain and Company has Designed and Built homes throughout Montana with the primary focus on the Northwestern section of the State. In addition to Custom Homes, Greg Bain and Company has vast experience in Renovation and Remodeling as well as in Commercial Design and Construction. In the 1980’s the company worked on a pilot program for energy efficient, high performance homes providing our clients with building solutions that minimized their ecological impact on the environment. Greg Bain & Company was a “Green” Builder long before the term became popular.

PRINCIPLES

GREG BAIN

As a 4th generation Flathead Valley native and a 2nd generation builder, Greg apprenticed from an early age with his father, a Master Builder and Cabinet Craftsman. Greg started Greg Bain and Company in 1976 specializing in the Design/Build of custom residential homes and remodeling and renovation as well as Design/Build commercial work. Greg founded the Flathead Building Association in 1979. He has served as President of the Montana Homebuilders Association and has served as a State Representative to the National Association of Homebuilders. Greg’s keen eye and interest in Creative Design solutions for his client’s goals and dreams are legendary in the business. The results he has created for clients have served to develop long term, trusting relationships that endure long after the project has been completed.

Greg enjoys spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren as well as all outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, and scuba diving. If not on your job site or the office you will find Greg at his ranch completing the chores that are required for that season.

MATT BAIN

As a fifth generation Flathead Valley native and a 3rd generation builder, designing and building homes that enhance the beauty of this magnificent part of Northwest Montana definitely runs deep through Matt Bain’s blood.

Just as Matt’s father, Greg, was mentored in the construction business by his father, Matt is enjoying the opportunity of being mentored by his father as he works along side him in his position as Vice-President of Greg Bain & Company.

Besides being an experienced craftsman at framing and finish carpentry, Matt is experienced in the Construction Management of multi-million dollar homes as well as bonded commercial remodels.

Matt grew up actively involved in Flathead sports spending time in the beautiful outdoors that surround the Flathead Valley. After graduating from Flathead High School, Matt furthered his education and his love for football at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana.

Matt also enjoys spending time with his wife, Mandy and their daughter, Brooklyn who frequently accompany him on his fishing, hiking, camping and hunting adventures.
