- International Builders Show 2012 in Orlando FL
We spent the last week, February 8th through the 12th, at the NAHB International Builders Show in Orlando, FL. The NAHB IBS is one of the largest building industry tradeshows in the world. In it’s 68th year, the show exceeds 500,000 sq ft of exhibit space attracting well over 50,000 exhibitors and attendees. The show also offered 200+ education sessions. Ben Bernanke, Federal Reserve Chairman, was guest speaker. He cautioned there just isn’t a single solution to the housing market situation and indicated a strong need for the policy makers and private sectors to work together in developing and implementing policies to help the still weak housing market. Overall, we gathered valuable educational and new project information at the show and would say the atmosphere was cautiously optimistic.

Greg’s own ‘Eagle’s Cove’ Log Home on the beautiful Flathead Lake here in Montana received showcase recognition in the 2012 Buyers Guide for Log Cabin Homes. - Hearth & Home Interview
Greg was interviewed by Hearth & Home for an interesting article on current trends in outdoor rooms appearing in their October 2011 edition. The article was named ‘Want Vs. Need’ and was written by Lisa Readie Mayer. Lisa contacted Greg for his expertise due to the recognition he received from the 2010 National Association of Homebuilders BALA Awards. At these awards he received the Platinum Award for Best Specialty/Outdoor Room for his Outdoor Kitchen Design at the Retreat at Flathead Lake. Our Booth at Flathead Valley Home and Garden
We would like to thank all the people who visited our booth during the Flathead Valley Home and Garden Showcase, March 18th through the 20th in Kalispell, Montana. The show was a great success and we met many wonderful people from Montana and surrounding states plus Canada with optimistic outlooks and a true interest in custom home building and remodels. Our booth was also successful in winning two local award ribbons: Best of Show and Best Selling Power! We had a great time and look forward to meeting with many of you again in the near future..
